The Mount Maunganui Blues, Brews & BBQ's festival is one of the regions iconic events and is not to be missed. The festivals boasts the largest collection of fine ales for any single event of its type making it New Zealand's largest celebration of brewing. While New Zealand is well recognised for its fine wines, it is less recognised that craft breweries all around the country are producing really world class products using traditional methods. To cater for all tastes, there will be a selection of fine wine from the local Mills Reef Winery, Cider is making a come back with Bulmer Cider joining the festival and there will even be a tipple or two of schnapps to be found. So come and join the fun, sample a few ales, try some of the wonderful culinary cuisine on offer and kick back to the sounds of some great blues music. What could be better?

The festival is organised by the community service group, Tauranga Round Table to raise funds for local charities, community organisations and youth activities.
